New Website!

Hello everyone and Happy Summer!

Well, it’s not summer officially yet, but with temperatures in the high 80s and 90s here in the Palmdale/Lancaster area just north of Los Angeles, it might as well be!

Well, the big news is that I just graduated! YES! I’ve been working on this ‘Double Degree’ in Graphic Design & Digital Imaging for 4.5 years now and I could not have done it without the unconditional love and support of my husband and my children. I love them more than words can say.

I just uploaded the ‘main’ portion of this website just a few minutes ago, which I worked on and was part of two of my last classes I took this past semester. It showcases my work, my interests and my passion.

As you may have noticed, I had stopped updating this blog when my last semester of College started in early February; I will resume posting my images, graphic work, free incredimail letters and more on a weekly or bi-weekly basis starting this week!
I started a Portfolio Website for my Photography just last week-I am still working at it, but it’s HERE if anyone is interested in it!
I am also working on my own unique illustrations, my little characters which will become part of my larger view of what I want to work on. I am still undecided of what exactly that vision is, but I will get there, whether they will be part of Digital Scrapbook kits or Digital Word Quotes, Logos or other, we shall see.

The main reason why I want to follow my passion this way, along with keep working on my books is because I can do most of them from home. Having a Degree in this field gives me credibility. My son’s EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa) is not going anywhere, I am his sole caregiver and he needs me. I will never be able to work full time, if I do, it will mean I would need to hire a pricey full time Nurse which I could never afford. That simply isn’t going to happen. Sometime after Nicky graduates High School next year I will be looking for a part-time position that would allow me to earn enough money, that could be working for photographer, a web design firm or similar, my dream would be teaching basic Web Design at the College, keep your fingers crossed for me!
