I am a parent of a child with special needs. Sometimes life feels like walking on a tightrope into this vast eternity. Everywhere I turn, everywhere I look struggle is all I seem to see. But every day I transform just a bit, and remember the journey of the caterpillar to a butterfly. It cannot be all that pleasant one would think, to go from a wiggly little work into a soaring splendor through the sky. So I keep my hope with me wherever I go and when I lose it, I promise myself to find it once again and keep on transforming as I go.
